“The Left keeps reaching into the same bag of tricks,” said Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life of America. “When they can’t win the argument, they resort to intimidation and violence. But the Pro-Life Generation won’t back down. We will continue to stand boldly for truth, engage in respectful dialogue, and change hearts and minds, not just in solidarity with our friend Charlie Kirk, but for the preborn, whose lives hang in the balance every time these conversations are silenced.”

CAMBRIDGE, MA (09-29-2025) – Just days after announcing that Students for Life of America’s (SFLA) All Human Life is Valuable National Campus Tour would continue in the tragic aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, our students faced a disturbing incident at Harvard University, when an abortion supporter aggressively overturned their table outside the Harvard Science Center.
According to Jessica Power, SFLA New England Regional Coordinator, the event was concluding when a woman approached the table, engaged students in a brief accusatory conversation, and then flipped the table before leaving the scene. The woman, who had a child with her, expressed her personal experience with abortion and voiced strong emotions before the incident.
“No one saw it coming that she would then flip the table angrily before quickly storming off,” said Power. “If this woman had been willing to dialogue with us, instead of acting violently towards us, we could have shown her that we do care about her and hear her point of view. Acts of violence will never build bridges; they will only continue to divide our nation.”
That same week, SFLA students were once again targeted: this time outside a Walmart in Mesa, Colorado. During a peaceful protest as part of SFLA’s Stop Pharmacy Abortions protest week, students called on Walmart and other retailers to stop selling Chemical Abortion Pills. The demonstration took a hostile turn when a woman drove past the group shouting, “My body, my choice!” She later parked, approached the students aggressively, and physically ripped signs from the hands of several protesters, striking one student’s hand and arm in the process. Eventually, she returned with handwritten Bible verses taken out of context to justify abortion.
Additionally, when Hawkins launched the first stop of the Abortion is Oppression fall tour following Charlie’s assassination, students at George Washington University mocked Charlie, claiming he “got what he deserved.”

“I’m proud of our staff and students’ unwavering commitment to peaceful advocacy, free speech, and the safety of everyone we engage with,” said Hawkins. “We call on all members of the campus community to reject aggression and violence and engage in respectful dialogue, especially on issues as vital as the value of human Life.”
BACKGROUND:
This isn’t the first time SFLA has encountered violence and vandalism. A few examples of SFLA standing firm in the face of violence and intimidation include:
- A student at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) vandalized a Cemetery of the Innocents display, which represented, at the time, the 1,076 preborn babies’ lives taken by Planned Parenthood each day.
- Abortion extremists and Antifa mobbed SFLA’s Lydia Taylor Davis during her Abortion is Violence fall tour, also at VCU.
- Abortion zealots also mobbed Davis at the Florida Pro-Life March a few months later.
Additionally, SFLA also went viral when a male harasser and University of North Carolina at Asheville (UNC-Asheville) student, Adrian Miguelez, swore at our students and vandalized an SFLA-affiliated Think Before You Drink tour table, exposing how Chemical Abortion Pills taint our waterways.
