Medical Students for Life of America (MedSFLA) is the medical outreach organization of Students for Life of America (SFLA), which began as American Collegians for Life (ACL) in 1988. Since 2006, ACL changed its name to SFLA and helped start over 450 new student pro-life organizations and revamp hundreds of existing student pro-life groups. SFLA has trained over 7,000 pro-lifers at its national conference, weekend training seminars, and one-on-one campus training. MedSFLA was launched in April 2010 and works alongside the professional staff at the SFLA national headquarters in Manassas, VA.
