How should one respond to a person who flippantly brags about having an abortion online?
Possible responses might include denouncing their actions, offering compassion for the pain women inevitably experience after abortion, or even saying nothing at all.
But when a fan gloated about aborting her baby after one of Zara Larsson’s concerts, the Swedish singer-songwriter opted for none of the above. Instead, she went for humor — since clearly the death of a baby at its own mother’s hands is something to laugh at.
In response to the fan’s TikTok, captioned, “I didn’t know I was pregnant here but at least my baby got to hear Midnight Sun before I aborted it,” Larsson commented, “I killed the performance and then you killed it after the performance purrrrrr.”
Larsson’s “joke” was simply the cherry on top of a reeking comment section filled with crude humor like:
“Ending midnight son.”
“The baby never saw the sun but at least it saw midnight sun.”
“Once in a lifetime experience for the baby lol.”
“You both killed it gooo gurlies 😏”
And the straightforward, “It was to die for.”
If there weren’t enough evidence already, this comment section makes it crystal clear: The pro-abortion movement isn’t about empowering women. It isn’t about “safe, legal, and rare” abortion. It isn’t even about protecting babies from being born into homes where they aren’t wanted.
The truth? It’s about normalizing flushing a baby down the drain just to preserve some temporary semblance of comfort or convenience. It’s about rejoicing that a baby was voluntarily offered as a sacrifice by the person who should have been its greatest protector. It’s about glorifying death.
If that doesn’t disgust you, then nothing will.
