When students choose to attend a Christian college, they do so because they want an education aligned with biblical values. Unfortunately, far too many schools fail to deliver.
According to a new report from Students for Life’s Demetree Institute, a full 1 in 7 self-proclaimed Christian colleges have connections to Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry writ large.

But that’s not all. According to the report, over a fourth of those connections involved Christian schools referring students to Planned Parenthood as a “health resource.”
That would be concerning even if the schools in question were secular. But they’re not — and by claiming the name of Christ, they subject themselves to an even higher standard.
In an op-ed for the Daily Wire published Wednesday, Students for Life’s Mary Mobley wrote,
For Christian schools, such referrals don’t just pose a threat to student health; they’re a direct betrayal of the faith they proclaim.
Mobley touched on her own experience attending a Christian school, saying,
I’m thankful that the school I attended, The Master’s University, a small Christian college north of Los Angeles, lives out its professed faith…. But the same should be true of all schools claiming Christianity.
If a student decides to attend a Christian school, they should know exactly what they’re getting: a school that affirms biblical truth, starting with the simple reality that every human life is sacred.
For so-called Christian colleges to support abortion casts shame upon the faith they profess—a faith centered on the principle that human life, beginning at conception, has inherent value.
These colleges have a choice: Either they cut all ties to abortion, or they stop claiming a faith they fail to live out.
