Students for Life Once Again Calls for Charlie Kirk’s Birthday to Become a National Holiday, Saluting & Celebrating Free Speech

“Charlie Kirk dedicated his life to defending free speech and inspiring a generation to speak boldly,” said Students for Life’s Kristan Hawkins. “We, the Pro-Life Generation, call on Congress to make today, October 14^th, Charlie’s birthday, a National Holiday.  This is to ensure the spirit of our friend lives on in the hearts and minds of Americans and truth tellers to come.”

FREDERICKSBURG, VA (10-14-2025) – Students for Life of America (SFLA) and Students for Life Action (SFLAction), in solemn remembrance, once again calls for a national commitment to fierce advocacy following the tragic loss of the founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), Charlie Kirk, a passionate leader and champion for Life and truth, through the commemoration of his birthday, October 14^th—as a national holiday, Charlie Kirk Free Speech Day.

“Charlie would have turned 32 today, far too young to be taken from this Earth,” said Hawkins. “But his legacy will live on—if action is directly taken.”
