Abortion Brags from Lily Allen & Hat from Cynthia Nixon Enrage Even Pro-Choice Americans. Can the Pro-Life Generation Take Some Credit?

Around the time that President Donald Trump signed the “Big, Beautiful” Bill on Independence Day, which defunded Planned Parenthood and all abortion facilities, two celebrities decided to show their twisted obsession with abortion. It was immediately met with necessary backlash from pro-lifers and pro-choicers alike.

The abortion love train started when a clip of singer-songwriter Lily Allen went viral of her saying she got “pregnant all the time” and that she had so many abortions she couldn’t even remember, as if she is casually recalling how many purses she has thrown away over the years.

This disturbing girl talk episode occurred during Allen and gal pal Miquita Oliver’s “Miss Me” podcast episode about unplanned preborn children, nonchalantly throwing them away and not needing to “justify” it to anyone.

“…You start seeing people posting things about extraordinary reasons for having an abortion,” lamented Allen. “I don’t want a f-cking baby right now. Literally: ‘Don’t want a baby’ is enough reason.”

Even this was far too callous for her pro-choice audience.

“I find this conversation incredibly insensitive. I’m very much pro-choice, but I’m genuinely shocked by what was said,” one listener wrote, as the chit-chat included jokes about having five abortions each like it was a competition.

One listener said that this horrible discussion helped the pro-life movement “in so many ways.”

Honestly, they are not wrong.

This morally void talk between two vapid and out-of-touch women points to how the pro-abortion narrative is most potent at the source: the Entertainment industry itself.

However, to those more in touch with reality, or humanity for that matter- talking this callously sounds like horrendous garbage that only a true movie villain would concoct.

But sadly, this is not a movie. In real Life, more than 400,000 preborn lives were lost between 2023 and 2024 by Planned Parenthood alone, and that’s not even including other abortion vendors.

In other good news, real Life shows that more Americans are pro-life and rejecting abortion extremism, as evidenced by Allen’s fans turning on her morbid sense of humor. A recent Gallup poll highlighted the steady shift away from pro-abortion beliefs since the reversal of Roe v. Wade.

For young adults ages 18-29, the results are noteworthy and encouraging:

  • Only 34% of young adults now agree that “abortion should be legal in all circumstances,” a drop of 14 points since 2022.
  • Pro-life identification among young adults increased to 37% this year, an 11-point rise since 2022.

Bottomline: adults are not falling for the same old troupes, and pro-abortion celebrities may be realizing it.

Sex and the City Star Cynthia Nixon was also slammed online. She snapped a boat selfie on Instagram while wearing a “Make Abortion Great Again” hat, praising the abortion giant Planned Parenthood, criticizing the “Big, Beautiful” Budget Bill’s funding cuts to all abortion vendors, writing, “Trump’s big ugly bill will strip critical funding to @plannedparenthood for non-abortion-related medical care. (And of course abortion is healthcare too!).”

Commenters said her post was “sick” even for being “pro-choice,” calling her “disgraceful,” “depraved,” and “evil.”

The culture is shifting again towards Life, in part thanks to Students for Life of America (SFLA), which has grown to 1,575 groups and trained 230,000 students. We’re not only spreading the message of Life but allowing it to sink in deeply with our continued presence and perseverance not only on campuses, but on our social media as well, which is another key part of combatting the pro-abortion lies.

It is paying off.  The statistics and the people speak for themselves, and Hollywood pro-aborts will learn from Allen and Nixon.
