As the Pro-Life Generation (PLG) eagerly awaits the Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic case, we have a reason to celebrate in the meantime- as children outside of the womb are dealt a victory and protection in a decisive blow to Planned Parenthood.

In a 6-3 decision, Justice Samuel Alito wrote plainly in the majority opinion that “Tennessee’s law prohibiting certain medical treatments for transgender minors is not subject to heightened scrutiny under the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment and satisfies rational basis review.”  

In other words, states have the right to protect children from mutilation and sterilization from “wrong” sex hormones or ghastly genital or breast surgeries.  

While many outlets have bemoaned the decision as an attack on “trans rights,” Planned Parenthood is chief among the complainers, calling the ruling “devastating.”  It makes sense that the chief abortion vendor is apoplectic. After all, in 2005, Planned Parenthood expanded their market from eliminating the preborn in the womb to mutilating them outside of it.  

According to the Health & Human Services (HHS) shocking 2025 report, Planned Parenthood takes one of the top spots as America’s largest provider of “wrong” sex hormones, padding their pockets even more than committing abortions already does.

This makes them the largest provider of horrifying and irreversible side effects to children, and we are not the only ones who have noticed. Along with HHS, The American College of Pediatricians called out the predictable and horrific mental and physical side effects. The organization definitively stated:   

“Temporary use of puberty blocker Lupron has also been associated with and may be the cause of many serious permanent side effects including osteoporosis, mood disorders, seizures, cognitive impairment and, when combined with cross-sex hormones, sterility.”  

In addition to the harm from Lupron, cross-sex hormones put youth at an increased risk of heart attacks, stroke, diabetes, blood clots, and cancers across their lifespan. Add to this the fact that physically healthy but hormonally confused girls are being given double mastectomies at 13 and hysterectomies at 16. At the same time, their male counterparts are referred for surgical castration and penectomies at 16 and 17, respectively. It becomes clear that “affirming transition” in children is really about mutilating and sterilizing emotionally troubled youth. 

As if it could not get any worse, Planned Parenthood was recently exposed for skirting the laws, reportedly forgoing safety standards and pumping kids full of birth control to stop puberty without their parents knowing.

Planned Parenthood is having a bad year, in part thanks to Students for Life of America (SFLA). We have been advocating, calling lawmakers, and visiting congressional offices to defund Planned Parenthood and all abortion vendors through the “Big, Beautiful” Budget Bill. After all, the abortion giant still receives nearly $800M annually from taxpayers.  

Bottomline: no organization that mutilates children inside or outside the womb should receive hard-earned taxpayer money, and Planned Parenthood is certainly no exception.
