Did former First Lady Michelle Obama get an “F” in biology class? Based on recent comments, Obama has no idea what the reproductive system does and how Democrats’ abortion policies harm women.    

In a recent podcast episode of IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson, plus OB/GYN Dr. Sharon Malone, they all played around with abortion euphemisms like “women’s right,” ”choice,” and “body control,” which all circumvent that fact that abortion is lethal violence and preborn children AND women are worth protecting.  

“Women’s reproductive health is about our life,” said Obama. “It’s about this whole complicated reproductive system that the least of what it does is produce life. It’s a very important thing that it does, but you only produce life if the machine that’s producing it—if you want to whittle us down to a machine—if the machine is functioning in a healthy, streamlined kind of way. But there is no discussion or apparent connection between the two.”   

Malone chimed in, erroneously saying, “It’s not just about whether someone chooses to have a pregnancy or not, but this is a situation where a woman should have control over her body—when and if to have a baby, and to decide how that pregnancy should continue.”   

Students for Life of America (SFLA) President Kristan Hawkins breaks down this disturbing narrative, noting that Obama’s party has undermined women’s health with the dangerous “My Body, My Choice” narrative echoed in mainstream media and education systems.    

“Michelle Obama illustrates what’s wrong with modern education in attempting to wordsmith whether the ‘reproductive system’ is really intended to focus on reproduction,” Hawkins explained. “Women certainly represent more than just one part of themselves, but let’s not pretend it’s an irrelevant part, as we alone have the gift of carrying life. What’s been broken in modern culture is the celebration of our capacity to sustain life in our bodies, something that too often has been dragged away or cut out entirely.”      

Hawkins continued, “But all Michelle Obama needs to do to see who is to blame for getting the government involved in healthcare is to open a photo album.” Hawkins went on to point out that under her husband’s “regime,” healthcare became federalized, including a “blatant attempt to force pro-abortion mandates into every plan.”   

There’s no better example than the deceptively named Women’s Health Protection Act, which Hawkins accurately calls “a Democratic Party re-run better called the Women’s Health Endangerment Act, a naked power grab for more federalized abortion demands.”   

“As a powerbroker in a party that has made federalizing abortion a mandate, Michele Obama looks pretty unaware of the reproductive implications of the policy she has been pushing,” Hawkins observed.   

This singular, immovable focus on “protecting” women’s rights has tragically led to the exact opposite. With a sole focus on “choice,” women are injured by reckless Chemical Abortion Pill policies to make that “choice” as accessible as possible, but dangerously so. And who can forget the smallest, most innocent victim – every preborn child snuffed out by abortion?    

But for now, Michelle Obama should go back to school before reexamining her political party’s abortion extremism.
