Students for Life of America (SFLA) Southeast Campus Formation Coordinator and dedicated Swiftie Mary-Logan Miske lamented Swift’s ill-informed endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz in a DailyWire open letter. In particular, Miske questioned how her pro-woman and pro-feminism stances could blend with killing preborn women in the womb and advocating for candidates who would thumbs up the slaughter of the preborn up to birth and even infanticide.

“You’re a self-proclaimed feminist who said you did your research, but I’m doubtful,” wrote Miske in her DailyWire op-ed. “If you critically researched like you proudly boast, you would join the pro-life Swifties and stand against Harris and Walz’s late-term abortion stance.”
Miske continued to list off some of Swift’s missed “research,” which she claims to have done but seems to have either glazed over accidentally or purposefully ignored.
“If you did your research, did you know that Walz signed the “Protect Reproductive Options Act”? It’s abortion-ese for legalizing and codifying abortion for any reason up to nine months with zero protection for babies who survive abortion… Because you consider yourself a feminist, it’s hard to comprehend how you could support anti-feminist, anti-human legislation.”
Given Swift’s recent comments at the 2024 VMAs urging her young fans to vote less than 24 hours after her Harris and Walz endorsement. However, the tragic irony is that Swift is telling her fans to vote for candidates who would kill future fans and innocent lives in the womb – people who will never get a chance to celebrate life, attend one of her concerts, or have a voice of their own. Miske points this out to Swift in her letter:
“It could be easy to dismiss ‘one potential fan’ considering the record-breaking demand for your Eras Tour, which can fill at least 900 stadiums with approximately 70,000 seats per stadium.
That’s a staggering 63 million fans—an equivalent number to the lives lost due to abortion in the United States since Roe v. Wade.” All those bright lights ‘Bigger Than the Whole Sky’ for one show multiplied by 900 over almost 50 years vanished—it’s hard to imagine.” Â
Miske ends her letter by asking Swift to reconsider her stance and giving her the benefit of the doubt – though it’s difficult to, especially if Swift saw the debate and didn’t discern or research the lies Harris (and the ABC moderators) spewed about late-term abortion “not existing.”
Miske writes:
“Taylor, at best, you haven’t actually done your research, and at worst, you’ve accepted and celebrated one of the greatest evils of our time. I hope it’s the former.
Please advocate for Swifties to live out their eras in their truest form, beginning in the womb. Who knows, maybe one day you’ll embrace pro-lifers like former President Donald Trump embraces Swifties.”
It’s unlikely she will, but crazier things have happened in 2024.
