Planned Parenthood’s gender mutilation business for minors may be under fire. 

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), which represents 92% of plastic surgeons, recently deviated from the mainstream opinion that mutilating and castrating children is necessary for their health and well-being. This is a bold move, all things considered, given that the mainstream consensus in the medical industry is not to question gender identity and instead offer hormones and surgery.  

Not only that but there’s also the risk these plastic surgeons, who perform gender transition surgeries, will be maligned by the public and shunned by the indoctrinated and gender-crazed medical institutions.  

As Students for Life of America (SFLA) has covered, along with other news outlets, Planned Parenthood boasts of its high rate of gender transition “patients,” making them the second largest provider of transgender services.  

People can be out in and out in a matter of minutes, according to a recent report. A simple 30-minute appointment and gender-confused person, who likely needs objective and nongender indoctrinated psychotherapy, can leave with chemical castrating drugs.  

ASPS spoke to Fox News about their brave deviation from many plastic surgeons who are (1) too greedy to care about the health of their patients or (2) too scared to speak out.  

As reported by Fox News: 

“The ASPS told Fox News Digital that it ‘has not endorsed any organization’s practice recommendations for the treatment of adolescents with gender dysphoria,’ as first reported by the Manhattan Institute (MI). The group said there is ‘considerable uncertainty as to the long-term efficacy for the use of chest and genital surgical interventions’ and that ‘the existing evidence base is viewed as low quality/low certainty.’” (emphasis added) 

This comes off the heels of a recent UK and independent review that found gender identity treatment through surgery and puberty blockers to be “shaky” and for doctors to be “extremely cautious” in prescribing these horrible solutions.  

This study made Great Britain take a huge step back on what they, along with other Western countries, had been told about trans-identifying children, as reported by the DailyWire:  

“Britain’s National Health Service (NHS) will review all transgender medical treatment in the wake of a highly anticipated review that found such treatment is built on ‘weak evidence.’”   

It seems that physicians in the United States are starting to follow suit.  

Dr. Richard Bosshardt, a board-certified plastic surgeon and senior fellow at Do No Harm, an organization that focuses on keeping identity politics out of the medical field, spoke harshly about the irresponsible oversimplification of cross-sex hormones and gender surgeries.  

“As a proud member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons for over thirty years, a father of three, and a grandfather of six, I have viewed the uncritical rush to embrace experimental gender-affirming care for minors with dismay and alarm,” Bosshardt told Fox News Digital in a statement. “Those pushing for puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgery on minors have grossly oversimplified something which is incredibly complex and poorly understood as though this is ‘settled science.’” 

When speaking to Fox News, MI fellow Leor Sapir acknowledged the burden of medical professionals to provide quality care to their patients, which is not to be taken lightly. He also stressed the importance of asking questions not based on ideology but in objective scientific inquiry before making life-altering changes to a child’s body.  

“In Europe, there’s been a course reversal because they have basically allowed their health authorities to do independent assessment of evidence, and they found that it’s just not there,” Sapir told Fox News Digital. “Here in the United States, instead of evidence-based medicine, we’ve relied on what I sometimes call eminence-based medicine, which is: ‘These treatments are good because these people say so.'” (emphasis added) 

Planned Parenthood has been one of the dangerous voices promoting eminence-based medicine as if it’s the highest quality care. Planned Parenthood says it themselves: 

“Planned Parenthood believes you deserve high-quality, compassionate health care — no matter your gender identity. Most of our health centers provide hormone therapy and other gender-affirming services for transgender and nonbinary patients.” 

High-quality care shouldn’t be based on the popular opinion of what medicine should be – it should be based on scientific evidence. So, suppose the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), with no long-term evidence, says that bodily mutilation is necessary. In that case, Planned Parenthood should say no to the money and wait to offer this “care.” But that isn’t in Planned Parenthood’s repertoire. Again, Fox News accurately reports: 

“Guidance issued in June 2022 by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) recommended some surgeries be allowed from the age of 15, while some ‘gender-affirming’ mastectomies have been performed on children as young as 12.” 

In an even more shocking discovery, WPATH “suppressed systematic reviews of evidence and eliminated age minimums for surgery under pressure from the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Rachel Levine.” 

Those same documents showed the average 50-79 girls between 2017-2023 were 12.5 years or younger. And internal messages leaked revealed that there was an acknowledgment that children were too young to understand the implications of chemical castration and body mutilation.  

Planned Parenthood is part of this multi-billion-dollar gender mutilation industry, which is no surprise given their business model – to kill preborn children for money. So, what a step further than to harm children for money?  

Thanks to ASPS and Do No Harm, Planned Parenthood and other gender clinics will start having to close their doors and answer for the irreversible damage done to young lives.
