Today on  Explicitly Pro-Life, the podcast hosted by SFLA president Kristan Hawkins, we are sharing an earlier episode to help the Pro-Life Generation combat the abortion lobby’s favorite, misleading mantra: “My Body, My Choice.”

The episode, entitled “Your Body Is Not Your Baby’s Body,” discusses three different ways the pro-life movement can engage with abortion supporters when they use this pseudo-argument.

When engaging with pro-abortion students on college campuses, Hawkins asserts that many don’t want to listen—they just want to scream this saying back at her. That’s why she has come up with three different ways to respond.

my body my choice

The first way to respond is to show the scientific inaccuracy of this claim because a preborn baby’s body is not the mother’s body. The preborn child is a separate and unique human being with their own DNA—so no; it’s not your body.

The second way to respond is to find out whether the abortion supporter actually supports bodily autonomy—or do they just support abortion? Hawkins shares that if the abortion supporter is in favor of measures like vaccine mandates or mask mandates, you can conclude that they don’t really care about personal freedoms; they’re just abortion zealots.

Tune in today to learn more about how to explain these first two points and to find out what Hawkins’ last argument against “My Body, My Choice” is; click HERE to listen!
