I feel a calling as a man to stand firm on my principles and defend life because if a person’s dignity becomes based on their relative worth or impact on another, what could be next? A Political Opponent? A Race? A Religion?

Before becoming a high school pro-life leader, I created a Turning Point USA High School Chapter that was nominated for “Most Active Chapter of the Month” and founded a pro-life club in my middle school. I also attended multiple fully covered TPUSA events, including AmericaFestChapter Leadership Summit, and Student Action Summit. This year I have had the incredible privilege of undertaking my first fellowship with Students for Life called the Thaddeus Stevens Fellowship. I decided to apply because I wanted to improve my apologetics skills, learn how to manage leadership tasks, and gain confidence in handling difficult situations on campus. Just in these past couple of months, I have improved significantly in all these areas. In fact, in my Diocese’s Eucharistic Congress, I felt well equipped to manage the Right to Life booth discussing and engaging with many on a variety of topics.

I have had the honor alongside my club’s president to host many meetings and events. A couple of my favorites included pro-life sign making, a Life Chain where we stood along the street holding signs in advocacy for the unborn children, and lastly a Pro-Life Chalk Day where we promoted life “From the Womb to the Tomb” though messages and images.

The National Leaders Collective has been a blessing sent to me from the Lord to grow my faith through my service to Him as it says in James 2:24 “a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.”
