As the Florida election results came in last night, it really hit me…
One single vote was responsible for determining whether or not TENS of THOUSANDS of babies (about 50,000) would live or die this year.
We knew it would be a close vote as the abortion lobby and political Left spent HUNDREDS of MILLIONS against the pro-life movement this election.
But thanks to the leadership of Governor DeSantis and a coalition of pro-life efforts (including emptying the bank account of Students for Life Action) in Florida, Life won.
And from Florida, a series of victories was won last night thanks to your prayers, dollars, and hard work.
Tune in TONIGHT (Wednesday) at 8:30pm ET for a FULL analysis of the federal, state, and ballot referendum races the Pro-Life Generation engaged in and what we must do next! RSVP by clicking here.
In the meantime, here’s a short teaser of some of victories we saw beyond President Trump winning re-election:
- Florida, South Dakota, and Nebraska defeated late-term abortion ballot referendums!
- In the U.S. Senate, we saw Republicans gain 3 new seats, which will be key for pro-life judicial and administrative appointments.
- Three Students for Life Alumni won races last night, one, Dr. Bob Onder, is heading to the U.S. Congress, and two others will be serving in the New Hampshire and Kentucky state houses!
- Our state legislative candidates in WV, SC, and OK who defeated pro-choice or squishy Republicans in the spring primaries all won in their general races! This is important because our opponents in the GOP establishment often discourage involvement in primaries because they claim we will lose the seat in the general. Time and again we have proven this untrue.
- In Oklahoma, voters voted “NO” on three liberal Supreme Court Justices retaining their seats. This is key as these judges struck down our pro-life law.
- The North Carolina House will likely remain a super majority for Republicans. In Arizona, it looks like the GOP may keep the House and a tie is likely in the Senate. In Pennsylvania, the GOP may be able to reclaim control of the House. And in Michigan, Republicans may take back the House! These are important victories as each of these states have pro-abortion Democrat Governors!
Bottomline: Abortion Extremism was on the ballot, and it failed.
Democrats and Kamala Harris ran an entire Presidential campaign, the first-ever, on abortion, making the case that electing them meant more babies were going to die.
And they lost ground with women, male, Independent, Black and Hispanic Americans, Catholic, and YOUTH voters. Basically, EVERYONE.
It shouldn’t be a surprise, but, I guess it is for some, so I’ll say it again…promising to kill more babies does not motivate Americans.
However, it’s not all roses.
Abortion extremism lost but, in many places, abortion moderatism won.
In Arizona and Missouri, the pro-life movement was outspent, MASSIVELY, so lies and fear-mongering won the day for the abortion lobby.
In Nebraska, the late-term abortion referendum was defeated but another was passed that will keep abortion legal until 12 weeks, yet will still give their legislature room to act to save lives.
And that’s why we’ve got to get to work today.
While Republicans taking the U.S. Senate means that the Women’s Health Protection Act, a.k.a. abortion forced on in every state in all 9 months with taxpayer dollars, is likely dead…many Republicans who won seats in the Senate followed President Trump’s lead and have said abortion isn’t a federal issue.
We know that’s false.
So, this morning, we’ve risen to a new day with new promises and new challenges of protecting Life in many states.
First, we need to be ready to fight an on-slaught of attacks against the pro-life movement until Inauguration Day as the Biden-Harris Administration and their FDA are trying to expand Chemical Abortion Pills in ways you wouldn’t believe.
Second, we’ve got to say it loud and clear for President Trump that we expect him to:
- Release all of the pro-life prayer warriors who are sitting in federal prisons because they prayed in front of an abortion facility.
- Appoint pro-life leaders, not abortion lobbyists, to key administrative positions.
- Truly end federal involvement with abortion (since that’s his view) and tell Planned Parenthood to go fund themselves.
- Make America Healthy Again by ending Chemical Abortion Pill pollution in our drinking water (and in the process save hundreds of thousands of babies and mothers from abortion)
Third, we’ve got to get to work in Missouri and Arizona fighting against their new constitutional “rights” to abortion. This means the GOP leadership in those states MUST step up, and we’ve got to get to work changing culture.
And don’t worry, I have some creative solutions for how we can massively limit the evil of abortion in those states….stay tuned.
So, we have work to do Pro-Life Generation, but we are ready.
We were born for this.
For Life,
Kristan
