“Feminists Lied: Prove Me Wrong” Campus Free-Speech Events Launch with Kristan Hawkins & Turning Point USA

America’s women and girls have been told for decades that modern-day feminism & the sexual revolution have been vital to their equal rights and value. Hawkins will debunk this long-held lie and invite students to prove her wrong at campus dialogue events across eight campuses from coast to coast this month.

“For decades, young women were told that career success, a degree, and independence were the keys to happiness, and that abortion was the price of equality. Many Millennial women now ask whether those promises delivered, and Gen Z deserves to hear that conversation before they make the same choices,” said Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America. “Motherhood is not a weakness to be overcome. If equality requires a woman to end her pregnancy to succeed, then we haven’t liberated her at all. We’ve just handed her a different burden and called it freedom.”

DALLAS, TX (10-20-2026) – Students for Life of America (SFLA) and Turning Point USA (TPUSA) will launch their first-ever partnered series of campus events beginning Oct. 20. The series, Feminists Lied: Prove Me Wrong, includes eight campus events led by SFLA President Kristan Hawkins. Each event challenges the claim that feminism and “reproductive rights” have helped women more than they’ve harmed them.

These on-campus events pose a direct challenge to college students: Have women been told the truth about career, equality, empowerment and motherhood? Hawkins will invite students to debate and make their case.

The series includes the following campuses:

  • University of North Texas
  • Grand Valley State University
  • University of Cincinnati
  • Boise State University
  • University of New Mexico
  • University of Arizona
  • Southern Oregon University
  • University of Washington

Failed Promises Made to America’s Women and Girls

Many are asking what’s wrong with women in America. Hawkins has one answer: feminists lied. Women today continue to struggle with loneliness, anxiety, depression, suicidality, image issues and work-life balance. Hawkins argues that many of those struggles trace back to lies told to women by politicians and pop culture for three generations. Professional success can be valuable, but it is not a substitute for meaningful relationships, family, community, and purpose.

“If men do not have to sacrifice their children in order to succeed, why should women?” Hawkins said. “A society that values women should treat motherhood as an essential contribution worthy of honor, not a liability. Students deserve to hear that case, and we are going to make it on their campuses.”

Prove Me Wrong events bring truth and reason back onto America’s campuses.

SFLA is encouraging students and supporters in each area to attend a campus stop near them. Those unable to attend can help fuel these campus dialogue events with a donation.
