As the 2026 Republican Midterm Convention kicks off in Dallas, Texas, nearly 40 pro-life groups sent a letter headed by Students for Life Action (SFLAction) to the Trump Administration calling for Planned Parenthood to be disqualified from federal funding.

The letter was detailed in an exclusive at FOX News, which detailed Planned Parenthood’s contentious history, including that the abortion vendor “allegedly defrauded taxpayers, violated federal laws, and abused public trust,” as a reason to open a debarment investigation into the Abortion Goliath.

As FOX News reported

The letter, spearheaded by Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins, is addressed to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Attorney General Todd Blanche, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Kelly Loeffler and was announced Wednesday at the GOP midterm convention in Dallas.

In it, 39 group leaders urge Cabinet officials to finalize and expand on an audit launched in January by the SBA into whether Planned Parenthood fraudulently collected tens of millions in COVID Paycheck Protection Program funds despite being ineligible.

If the administration finds fraud occurred, it could issue a sweeping nationwide ban on Planned Parenthood doing business with any federal agency or program for up to three years, Students for Life Action Vice President of Media and Policy Kristi Hamrick told Fox News Digital

Students for Life of America (SFLA) and SFLAction’s respective advocacy and political work to defund and debar Planned Parenthood has accomplished more than Americans thought possible. SFLAction’s grassroots and lobbying work resulted in the federal defunding Planned Parenthood and other abortion vendors for an entire year.

Now, SFLAction and its allies are working toward this longer-term method of debarment. That’s why team members and students are at the RNC’s midterm convention this week to bring attention to the dangerous practices of the abortion industry that warrants such an investigation.

“Pro-life voters, like every part of the GOP coalition, deserve a return on investment for our support of the Trump Administration, which has diligently sought to address fraud and waste of scarce taxpayer resources,” said Hawkins in a news release about the letter. “They must finish the investigation launched at the SBA earlier this year. We don’t need 60 votes in the U.S. Senate for the Trump Administration to take a good look at what passes for ‘service’ at Planned Parenthood. Even the New York Times admits there are issues with ‘botched care and tired staff.’”

At the RNC and beyond, SFLA and SFLAction will continue their work to hold Planned Parenthood accountable for the lives they take, the misinformation they spread, and the lies that fund the abortions they commit.
