If you are looking for a group of students who are truly passionate about the pro-life movement, look no further than the Newman Center at Missouri University of Science and Technology — better known as S&T. This group of ten students has been doing the kind of work that actually moves the needle, and honestly, they deserve every bit of recognition they get. 

S&T got involved in the pro-life movement in 2024, hosting a cross display and jumping into the Abortion on the Ballot tour. What makes their story so special is that this group was actually brought back to life after being inactive for a period of time, and they came back with more fire and passion than ever. They have been growing ever since and show no signs of stopping. 

One of the things they have done really well is fundraising for their local Pregnancy Resource Center. Not only did they raise money for an incredible cause, but it ended up being one of their best tools for getting more students through the door. People who had never thought much about the pro-life movement started showing up to meetings, getting involved, and sticking around. That kind of organic growth is hard to manufacture — it just happens when a group is doing something real and meaningful. 

They have also been tabling on campus consistently, including for the promotion of Amendment 3, which Missouri voters will be deciding on this November. This group is not shy about it either — they want people to know that abortion is unthinkable, and they are willing to have that conversation with anyone who will listen. Whether someone walks up already agreeing with them or ready to push back, this group meets them where they are and engages with genuine care and confidence. And it works — they have changed hearts and minds, one conversation at a time. 

What really stands out about this group is that they do not just stay on campus. They have taken their passion into the community, partnering with their local Pregnancy Resource Center and connecting with students and residents beyond the walls of S&T. They are building something bigger than a club — they are building a culture that says every life matters and that abortion should be unthinkable in our communities.
