Students for Life of America (SFLA) and Students for Life Action (SFLAction) President Kristan Hawkins appeared on “The Charlie Kirk Show” to discuss her recent confrontation with an Idaho coffee shop owner, who called Hawkins, her four children, and pro-life community members equal to the KKK before kicking them out.

Hawkins and a group of local residents from Teton Valley, Idaho met at Wydaho Roasters, a coffee shop in Driggs, Idaho, to launch a chapter of Students for Life’s Campaign for Abortion Free Cities and discuss pro-life strategy in the state, including bringing more resources for families in crisis in the Teton Valley area.

It didn’t last long before the owner came to them in a rage.

“The owner comes out and starts screaming at us that we are not welcome there, and then he compares pro-lifers to the KKK,” said Hawkins in an Instagram reel recounting the incident.

On the show, Hawkins recounted the event, pointing out the hypocrisy of abortion supporters calling the pro-life movement equivalent to the KKK when abortion was founded on racism.

“Margaret Sanger [founder of Planned Parenthood] literally spoke to the Women’s Auxiliary of the KKK,” said Hawkins. “The reason why we have legal abortion in our country today was because of racist eugenicists who believed people of ‘low breeds and stocks’ should not have the right to reproduce. So, the whole abortion industry is founded in racist and rooted in racism.”

Pushback from pro-abortion radicals like those at Wydaho Roasters is nothing new for Hawkins and other pro-life advocates. Hawkins gave an inspiring message, calling on conservatives to tackle the death culture of the pro-abortion left with decisive pro-life action.

“Sign up to go door knock with me, my kids, and all of our Students for Life chapter leaders in key election states, especially ballot referendum states,” said Hawkins.

“We are honored to serve more than 1,700 chapters across the country, and we’re so lucky to partner with so many amazing Turning Point and Club America groups,” Hawkins continued.

Hawkins made one point clear: there is nowhere in our country the pro-abortion lobby will not go to end the lives of preborn children — but you can make a difference by joining SFLA and SFLAction in the fight for life.
