STUDENTS FOR LIFE AT GULF BREEZE HIGH SCHOOL

Students for Life at Gulf Breeze High School in Florida was established in 2024 and now has 20 active members. The group hosted over 10 events on campus this year, including tabling at the school’s club rush to recruit and educate students about the organization, hosting themed discussion meetings such as “Refuting Common Pro-Choice Arguments,” organizing a month-long Christmas toy drive for their local Pregnancy Center, and partnering with their high school’s Turning Point USA chapter to create blessing cards for local mothers in need. The group also created maternity baskets for pregnant teachers at their school and organized plans to give free baby items to a pregnant student.

They attended both the National Pro-Life March and Pro-Life Summit in Washington, D.C. and the Emerald Coast Walk for Life in Pensacola, Florida. During the Emerald Coast Walk for Life, students conducted interviews with local pro-lifers and created a social media video project centered around the question, “Why Are You Pro-Life?” In addition, the group launched their own pro-life podcast to create open conversations about life issues, and they plan to expand the podcast next year by involving new officers as student hosts and bringing more guests to join in on the conversation. They were nominated for giving back to teachers and a student on campus who was pregnant, attending the National Pro-Life March and Emerald Coast Walk for Life, and hosting their Regional Coordinator on their pro-life podcast!

Students for Life at Gulf Breeze High School’s Top Accomplishment in the 2025-2026 Academic Year:

Expanding the Group’s Pro-Life Media Outreach

One of the group’s biggest accomplishments this year was expanding its pro-life media outreach through coverage of the Emerald Coast Walk for Life, a large local pro-life event that brings together students, families, churches, organizations, and community advocates from across the area to celebrate Life and support mothers and children. Hearing stories from advocates, families, and community leaders encouraged students to become more confident and intentional in their own advocacy efforts and reminded them of the importance of compassionate outreach and service. Inspired by the experience, students conducted interviews with local pro-life advocates about why they are pro-life and why protecting Life matters to them personally. The group then transformed these interviews into a student-led social media video project that highlighted diverse perspectives within the pro-life movement and encouraged respectful conversation among their peers. This experience not only strengthened the group’s involvement within the local pro-life community but also helped students grow as leaders by using digital media and storytelling to advocate for Life in a positive, compassionate, and impactful way.

COMING SOON IN 2026-2027 . . .

Students for Life at Gulf Breeze High School hopes to continue their leadership on campus by developing new student leaders, increasing club involvement, and creating more opportunities for meaningful discussion and service within the school and local community during the 2026-2027 academic year. The group plans to expand outreach efforts through educational events, community partnerships, advocacy initiatives, and support projects for mothers and families in need. By focusing on leadership development, compassionate service, and student engagement, the group hopes to continue building a strong and lasting culture of life on campus.
