Amid an online controversy over a celebrity relationship came an important message: Children are innocent and deserve to be protected, regardless of what the adults in their lives have done.
The daughter of “Chrisley Knows Best” stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, Savannah Chrisley, 29, has been bombarded with criticism over her relationship with Jason Galanis, 56, because of their 27-year age gap and his criminal history.
On October 27, Chrisley announced that she was engaged to Galanis and pregnant with their first child. As the attacks rolled in, Chrisley shared a pro-life message on her Instagram story alongside her baby’s ultrasound photo: “My sweet, thumb-sucking baby . . . you are worth it ALL!”
Chrisley’s story continued:
You are not a headline. You are not a controversy. You are not defined by anyone’s past, anyone’s mistakes, or anyone else’s opinions.
You are innocent, deeply loved, and the greatest blessing God could have ever entrusted your daddy and I with.
No amount of noise in this world will ever overshadow the joy of being your momma.
You are my answered prayer. And I will never apologize for celebrating you.

Chrisley spoke a truth that most of Hollywood would not dare to speak: children are gifts from God, meant to be loved and embraced by those blessed to have them.
Most importantly, Chrisley showed that the circumstances of a baby’s conception or the actions of the parents do not change the infinite value of that preborn child.
In a world where horrible actions by adults are used to justify ending the life of an innocent preborn child, Chrisley’s message stands out.
All life has infinite value, regardless of the circumstances of a child’s conception, the child’s diagnoses, or the identity of the parents.
Students for Life has carried this message forward for 20 years in a mission to make abortion unavailable and unthinkable, and we will not stop until America embraces a culture of life.
