“The owners of Wydaho Roasters need a lesson in manners as well as history,” said Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins. “This was the first meeting. of our brand-new Abortion Free Teton Valley group. Our goal was discussion how to bring more free services to hurting families in our community and educate voters about the late-term abortion referendum on the Idaho ballot this November. Not only is it offensive to be compared to the KKK, it’s insane to say that those who want to protect babies of every race, creed, and color have anything in common with that hateful organization. When it comes to groups tied to the KKK, take a look at Planned Parenthood and the racist, eugenics agenda that it was founded on. We may have had to move our meeting, but we won’t abandon our passion for babies and their moms.”

DRIGGS, IDAHO (08-17-2026) – Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins, her son, Bear Hawkins, a Students for Life Action Charlie Kirk Courage Fellow, her other three children, and more than 10 Teton Valley, Idaho community members were ejected from Wydaho Roasters on Monday night when the owner went on a tirade after learning that a new pro-life group was organizing to offer free services to pregnant & parenting mothers in the area. Abortion Free Teton Valley ended abruptly end when the owner kicked out the pro-life volunteers – even though they had already purchased food and drinks.

Wydaho Roasters has hosted other political events. Take a look at a screen shot of the pro-abortion meeting they welcomed.

“Free speech didn’t mean anything to Wydaho Roasters, and free help for moms didn’t either. But one thing they won’t get any more is our money – their food was not free, and they are not the only donuts in town,” said Hawkins.
