During a ceremony at the National Leaders Collective (NLC) Kickoff Weekend on Sunday, June 21, Students for Life of America (SFLA) announced its 2025 – 2026 Group of the Year award winners. We’re so excited to publicly share the exciting news! Read below to find out which of the group nominees were chosen as “best” in their individual categories.
Watch the Group of the Year Awards Ceremony:
New Group of the Year Winner: Cole Valley Club America at Cole Valley Christian School
Cole Valley Club America at Cole Valley Christian School in Idaho was established in February 2026 and now has 65 active members.
At their campus, Cole Valley Club America set up multiple diaper drive bins for their school community to donate diapers to a local Pregnancy Center. The diaper drive was held for one month, and by the end, there were over 120 packages of diapers donated, with a total of 5,773 individual diapers. The team of students took these diapers and dropped them off at the local Pregnancy Center, where they then helped set up the center’s new facility with these resources. Their goal was to assist struggling mothers by providing physical resources to make it easier for mothers to choose Life for their babies.

High School Group of the Year Winner: Students for Life at Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School
Students for Life at Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School in Michigan was established in 2021 and now has over 120 active members.
The group’s top accomplishment this year was bringing a record number of 100 students to the National Pro-Life March in Washington, D.C. They showed up armed with posters and costumes, ready to defend Life then and into the future.
The group also made 16 blankets for Project Rachel, decorated onesies for a local Pregnancy Resource Center, and helped coordinate a school-wide diaper drive.

College Group of the Year Winner: Georgetown University Right to Life
Georgetown University Right to Life in Washington, D.C. was established in 2007 and now has almost 50 active members.
The group’s president, Elizabeth Oliver, spoke at the National Pro-Life March in front of tens of thousands of marchers, joining the likes of March for Life President Jennie Bradley Lichter and U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson. Georgetown University Right to Life also led the National Pro-Life March.
The group hosts tour displays and tables frequently. Because of this, a student mom reached out and received support from Students for Life and Standing With You.

Standing With You Group of the Year Winner: Saints for Life at Holy Cross College
Saints for Life at Holy Cross College in Indiana was established in 2009, but they only recently became more than “the group that travels to D.C. for the National Pro-Life March.”
This year, Saints for Life completed a project to add maternity parking on campus! The process itself was surprisingly short, thanks to other Catholics at the college who supported the mission. After meeting with the assistant vice president of campus operations and the head of campus security, it became clear it was just a matter of where, how many, and the design.
The group eventually decided to add parking not just for expectant mothers, but also for those who are disabled or have small children. Because of this small change, the group was able to repurpose two of the school’s handicapped spots and expand the audience they could serve. From start to finish, the process took less than three months!
While Holy Cross College only has a few student parents, parking for expectant mothers serves as a great witness to any visitors from the greater South Bend community and beyond. Schools often say they are pro-life, but these spots are a visible witness to the importance of “loving them both.”

SFLA is so proud of these amazing student groups for going above and beyond in their mission to make abortion unavailable and unthinkable. Through their dedication to supporting families and driving out the abortion lobby, they have increasingly made both their campuses and communities more life-affirming. We can’t wait to see what they’ll be up to next year!
