Celebrating SFLA’s November 2025 Group of the Month: Arizona Christian University Students for Life!

Arizona Christian University students hold up pro-life and anti-abortion signs

Each month of the school year, Students for Life of America is proud to highlight one of our top-performing campus groups for their dedication and unique service to the pro-life movement. We’re a little behind, but we want to make sure everyone gets recognized — so for the month of November, we’re celebrating the incredibly eager and zealous Arizona Christian University Students for Life group.

ACU Students for Life President AnnaKate Sheehan has been spearheading this group as their fearless leader with positivity, grace, and grit. While her student organization is small, it’s mighty. They certainly kept themselves busy during this Fall 2025 semester!

One way that the group publicly defended Life this season was by participating in a local pro-life march supporting Choices Women’s Clinic, which is a group of Arizona pregnancy centers located in Glendale, Mesa, and Phoenix, with mobile units in Casa Grande and Buckeye. This march helped spread awareness about abortion and raised funds to support the clinics. Some of the services provided at Choices Women’s Clinic include free ultrasounds, which many mothers describe as decision-altering in the best way when considering abortion. Seeing the reality of a baby in the womb often breaks down the pro-abortion narrative!

In the same vein, ACU Students for Life has participated in a Saturday morning prayer vigil at their local Planned Parenthood facility. Prayer is efficacious; this work is just as important.

Their hands aren’t just lifted in prayer, either. They prioritize service, which is why the group also recently hosted a supply drive for a local pregnancy center. These donations go to directly help vulnerable mothers, families, and babies in need. From pregnancy to parenting, these students are working to ensure parents who choose Life are helped every step of the way.

Their organization also strives to be a visible light for Life on campus. They tabled at school for a “connect night” to start off the academic year by positively introducing their group and later hosted SFLA’s 2025 Campus Tour Display, All Human Life is Valuable, as well. After being trained on the tour materials, the ACU Students for Life had the opportunity to witness to their pro-life stance and share why Life is valuable from the moment of conception to natural death.

In just a few short months, this group will also be headed out to the National Pro-Life March in Washington, D.C. They are singlehandedly fundraising for 30 students to attend by designing and selling sweatshirts as a fundraiser. Their level of determination, organization, and work ethic in fundraising has been both astounding and admirable.

Looking forward to the future, ACU Students for Life plans to host SFLA’s Spring 2026 National Campus Tour. Sheehan is also graduating at the end of the semester, but despite this change in leadership mid-year, the group has no plans of slowing down.

The hustle that this college group has displayed should be a beautiful reminder to us all that time is a precious gift because Life itself is a gift. We should never grow “too busy” to advocate for the true, the good, and the beautiful. Activism looks different in different seasons, but stepping up for the voiceless is always our duty.

We continue to be inspired by these students for the willing, cheerful way they take on their duty, amid their school, work, studies, and personal lives. Congratulations, ACU Students for Life, on being the November Group of the Month — and keep up the good work!
