Gerber foods famously chooses a “spokesbaby” every year to be the face of its company. In 2018, they chose Lucas Warren, a baby with Down syndrome, as the face of its company; the first time Gerber had chosen a baby with Down syndrome.
Now, Gerber has chosen Magnolia Earl, an adopted girl, to be the company’s face for the next year.
According to today.com, Courtney Earl, Magnolia’s mother said, “It means that when people see our families, or if you see a family that doesn’t necessarily match, that you don’t have to question the belonging of anybody in that family.”
Magnolia has two sisters, Whitney and Charlotte. Charlotte is also adopted, according to the press release by Gerber.
As a pro-life organization, Students for Life of America supports adoption, and works to increase education on the facts and myths about adoption. If you have an adoption story you want to share, e-mail me today at [email protected].
