“The abortion industry has spent years distorting life itself into a debate about female empowerment,” said Students for Life’s Lydia Taylor Davis. “It’s never been empowering for women to end the lives of their preborn children, half of which are girls themselves.”

Fall campus tour visits eight universities from Tennessee to California, arguing the “abortion equals empowerment” narrative is a lie.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA. (09-17-2026) – Students for Life of America (SFLA) Spokeswoman Lydia Taylor Davis is taking her message directly to college campuses this fall with her largest tour yet: “Abortion is Anti-Woman.” As students across the country settle into new classes and schedules, Davis will challenge their idea of female empowerment and make the case for why abortion is uniquely anti-woman. The tour kicks off September 17 at Middle Tennessee State University and runs through November 5, stopping at eight campuses nationwide.

The launch comes just weeks after SFLA announced its nationwide “Abortion Victims: Every Abortion Has a Human Cost” tour, bringing an educational display to 150 campuses in over 40 states this fall. Davis’s tour carries that message to the individual level, arguing directly to students that the “abortion equals empowerment” narrative sold to young women on college campuses doesn’t hold up.

“Countless women are abused and coerced into abortions they don’t want, feeling they have to pick between their ambitions — or even their safety — and their preborn child’s life,” said Davis. “I’m visiting more campuses than ever to tell college women what they deserve to hear: true support for women is to help them through pregnancy and motherhood, not to force abortion.”
