As pro-lifers from across the country gather in front of the Capitol Saturday to celebrate the fall of Roe v. Wade and pray for America’s future, they will be joined in spirit by not one, not two, but five members of Congress. 

Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), James Lankford (R-OK), Roger Marshall (R-KS), and Steve Daines (R-MT), along with Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) each sent videos for the event sharing the same simple truth: Every life has value, and every life deserves protection. 

Their words will join a chorus of high-profile speakers at Students for Life’s annual National Celebrate Life Day event, an event that means more than ever as we near America’s 250^th anniversary.

America was founded on the idea that all possess equal rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness — and, as Representative Jim Jordan commented, the order of those rights means something. Yet today, over a thousand preborn Americans are denied their fundamental right to life every day. Clearly, there is much work to be done.  

We’re incredibly thankful for these pro-life members of Congress, who have consistently proven themselves passionate champions of Life and partners in the fight to ensure that no preborn baby is denied its right to live.
