In the newest episode of Explicitly Pro-Life, the podcast hosted by Students for Life of America (SFLA) President Kristan Hawkins, she discusses medical myths with two guests: Dr. Ingrid Skop, the Vice President and Director of Medical Affairs for the Charlotte Lozier Institute, and Gavin Oxley, SFLA’s Lead Operations Supervisor & Medical and Law Coordinator.
The three discuss the abortion lobby’s flawed logic which goes something like this: There is an increase in maternal mortality rates? We need more abortion. There is an OBGYN shortage? We need more abortion…and let’s blame it on pro-life laws.
In reality, however, the OBGYN shortage and maternal mortality rates are incredibly nuanced issues, and this episode discusses how abortion is actually a variable contributing to both. For solutions to these problems, take a listen!
