LUBBOCK, TX & WASHINGTON D.C. (05-18-2021) – Students for Life of America/Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins made the following statement following news of Planned Parenthood engaging in a lawsuit against the city of Lubbock, Texas, for their sanctuary city ordinance. She said: “Planned Parenthood is so paranoid that someone will plan to be a parent that they’ll take the city of Lubbock to court to prevent an abortion-free environment. It’s like they forgot the second word in their name: Parenthood. 

“But for the vast majority of Americans, welcoming children is the natural response to their presence in the womb. Planned Parenthood should set up their horrific business where they are wanted and respect those whose plan involves babies. Their City. Their Choice.”
