Students for Life of America is getting ready to kick off 2026 with a bang! For the first time ever, we will be hosting a live, in-person Abortion Debate Showdown on Friday, January 23, at 5 PM ET at the Grand Hyatt Washington, D.C. — the night before the 2026 National Pro-Life Summit.
For years, SFLA has challenged the abortion lobby in classrooms, in legislatures, and on hundreds of college campuses nationwide. Now, we are bringing both sides together on the same stage for a public, unfiltered debate on THE human rights issue of our time.
This event will be free and open to the public (though an RSVP is mandatory for in-person attendees), with an additional nationwide livestream to allow audiences everywhere to tune in.

This debate represents a rare opportunity to see pro-life and pro-choice voices engage directly — without scripts, without pre-screened questions, and without the editing that shapes so much online content.
Abortion is at the center of America’s cultural, moral, and political conversation. But too often, the discussion is reduced to shouting, censorship, or carefully curated soundbites. SFLA is committed to creating spaces where truth can be spoken boldly and arguments can be tested publicly.
So, join us the evening before the National Pro-Life Summit for this powerful exchange that will challenge ideas and equip you to confidently engage in conversations about abortion. Again — this in-person event is FREE and open to the public, but an RSVP is required for entry.
High security will be in place, and all attendees — pro-life and pro-choice — are welcome as long as they respect the dialogue.
