Students for Life Action Presents A Nationwide Webcast as TWO U.S. Senators and TWO National Pro-Life Leaders Explain why the U.S. Senate Needs to Vote NO on Xavier Becerra’s nomination to Head Health and Human Services

Tune in 8 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, Feb. 17

“California Attorney General Xavier Becerra has consistently used the power of his offices to force compliance with his radical abortion agenda,” said Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins. “The ‘famously partisan’ litigator is best known for taking those who disagree with him to court. As Kaiser Health News has noted, Becerra ‘is set to be a pandemic-era secretary with no public health experience’ unless you count suing medical professionals.”

WASHINGTON D.C. (02-16-2021) – Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins will host a live webcast Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at 8 p.m. eastern, featuring U.S. Senators Tom Cotton and Steve Daines along with SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser to address concerns with President Joe Biden’s highly controversial pick to head Health and Human Services. Hearings of Becerra’s nomination expected within the next week.

Anthony List; James Dobson Ph.D., Founder & President, Dr. James Dobson Family Institute; Jeanne Mancini, March for Life; Carol Tobias, National Right to Life; Lila Rose, President and Founder, Live Action; David Daleiden, The Center for Medical Progress; Abby Johnson, Founder, And Then There were None; Thomas A. This SFLAction effort follows our nationwide petition calling on the U.S.  Senate to VOTE NO on Becerra to head HHS, in part because of his aggressive legal action to get rid of FDA health and safety standards protecting women from dangerous and deadly Chemical Abortion pills. Learn more at THIS IS CHEMICAL ABORTION or Hawkins’s op-ed in RealClearPolitics, titled “HHS Nominee Becerra Has Downplayed Abortion Pill Risks.”

SFLAction is engaged in on-going opposition to this pick to head the nation’s healthcare system. Learn more at Students for Life Action.
