Students for Life of America (SFLA) held its second-ever “Wear the Truth Week” event. This month, students from 41 states boldly wore shirts bearing the undeniable truths that “LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION” and “SEX IS BINARY AND UNCHANGEABLE” on campuses that deny those very facts. 

For the event, running from September 14–18, SFLA shipped 160 “Wear the Truth Week” kits to 107 unique schools. Additionally, four homeschool groups participated in the event. 

Along with the shirts, these kits included resources for having civil discussions about abortion and gender ideology with their peers, as well as a guide to defend their right to free speech should their campus try to shut them down. 

SFLA hosted its first “Wear the Truth Week” event in May of 2026 in response to reports of hostility toward conservative viewpoints that made students afraid to voice basic scientific truths, including that men cannot become women and that life starts at conception.  

The success of the activism prompted another event this fall. This event could not have been possible without the support of the Alliance Defending Freedom.
