PLUS: Two other campus tours, ‘Chemical Abortion Hurts’ and ‘Abortion on the Ballot,’ kick off.

“The human rights issue of our day – abortion – acts as a pivot toward more engagement by those with the highest voter intensity, the Pro-Life Generation. This tour focuses on an ugly truth, that human lives are sacrificed every day because women are sold the lie that they have to choose between their child and their future,” said Students for Life’s Kristan Hawkins. “We need to sacrifice for our children rather than sacrifice them out of fear.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. (02-16-2026) –  On February 9th, Students for Life of America (SFLA) kicked off its Spring 2026 National Campus Tours, bringing the pro-life message to the largest voting bloc in the U.S. This spring’s themes include the groundbreaking “Abortion Is Human Sacrifice” tour, stopping first at North Carolina’s Campbell University and Kentucky’s University of Louisville.

SFLA President Kristan Hawkins described the tour as “one of our most intense tours ever,” saying, “While society attempts to justify the graphic murder of preborn babies via starvation, suction, poison, and dismemberment, this tour sends a clear message: Every abortion murders a unique human being who was created by God with a special purpose.”

The target audience for these campus-based events is the generation most targeted by a predatory abortion industry. Youth voters now make up over 48.5% of the electorate—making them the largest voting bloc in the U.S. Yet, while mainstream media paints youth voters as stubbornly, irreversibly pro-abortion, new polling from SFLA’s Demetree Institute shows that couldn’t be further from the truth.

A recent SFLA poll with Survey USA found that after a little education on Planned Parenthood’s wrongdoing, youth voters’ support for the abortion vendor dropped a full 13 points, and after they learned about the real harms of abortion, their support for abortion limits increased a full 18 points—showing youth voters are willing to change their minds in response to real facts.

SFLA’s spring tours build on that reality by bringing the truth about abortion and its consequences to campuses nationwide, changing hearts and minds to raise up a new generation of single-issue pro-life voters—the most loyal voting bloc in the U.S.

SFLA’s second tour, “Chemical Abortion Hurts,” highlights the specific harms caused by Chemical Abortion Pills. More than 1 in 10 women who use Chemical Abortion Pills experience serious, life-threatening complications. But these pills don’t just harm women – they result in 50+ tons of hazardous waste being flushed into U.S. waterways every year. This tour forces students and staff to confront the deadly consequences of the most common form of abortion.

SFLA’s third spring tour, “Abortion on the Ballot,” focuses specifically on Missouri, Nevada, Virginia, and Idaho, states in which SFLA is actively engaging in ballot measures—in Virginia, Nevada, and Idaho to oppose pro-abortion amendments, and in Missouri to promote a pro-life amendment. This tour educates youth voters—the largest voting bloc in America—on the abortion industry’s radical attempt to fundamentally transform state law to enforce abortion extremism.
