Students for Life Action: The Trump Administration Fails to Protect Babies & Their Mothers with Reckless Approval of a NEW VERSION of Chemical Abortion; This is a “Stain on the Trump Presidency”

WASHINGTON D.C. (10-02-2025) — On the same day that Trump Administration Officials received yet another request to discuss the review of Chemical Abortion Pills, it is  reported that a generic version of the first of the two abortion-causing drugs, Mifepristone, has been approved.

Students for Life of America (SFLA) and Students for Life Action (SFLAction) President Kristan Hawkins made the following remarks: “The Trump Administration’s approval of a new and deadly generic version of Mifepristone, without doing anything to protect mothers from abusers, women from reckless distribution leading to injury, infertility, and even death, or the environment from abortion water pollution represents a true failure. Students for Life’s FIFTH citizen petition directly asks that no new uses be approved without a total review. 

“The Pro-Life Generation asked during the campaign and from day one in this new administration for one Republican President to undo the political manipulations of three Democratic Party Presidents who prioritized the business model of Chemical Abortion Pill pushers. 

“More babies will die; More women will be harmed; and More Americans exposed to Abortion Water Pollution as a direct result of this unfathomable decision. This is a stain on the Trump Presidency and another sign that the deep state at the FDA must go.”
