President Trump once again used his platform at the State of the Union to advocate for the preborn and to strongly denounce the culture of death. After highlighting Ellie Schneider, a now-healthy girl who is one of the earliest survivors of premature birth, Trump made the obvious connection–Ellie, and all babies no matter their race, gender, or medical condition, deserve to live.
CBN News writes, “In a powerful pro-life moment, the president introduced a little girl who had survived even though her mom gave birth only 20 weeks into her pregnancy – a stage at which some babies are still aborted because pro-choice advocates say they’re not viable. Trump said little 2-year-old Ellie Schneider, born as a micro-preemie, is proof that all life should be cherished and late-term abortion should be ended.”

Every year, President Trump has used part of his State of the Union speech to champion the dignity of human beings.
Last year, he sharply criticized the pro-infanticide stances of governors Ralph Northam and Andrew Cuomo, saying, “Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth. These are living, feeling, beautiful babies who will never get the chance to share their love and dreams with the world,” and “we had the case of the governor of Virginia where he basically stated he would execute a baby after birth.”
In 2018, he highlighted Ryan Holets, a police officer who, “was on duty when he saw a pregnant, homeless woman preparing to inject heroin. When Ryan told her she was going to harm her unborn child, she began to weep. She told him she did not know where to turn, but badly wanted a safe home for her baby.In that moment, Ryan said he felt God speak to him: ‘You will do it — because you can.’ He took out a picture of his wife and their four kids. Then, he went home to tell his wife Rebecca. In an instant, she agreed to adopt. The Holets named their new daughter Hope.”
Naturally, the abortion industry and its cheerleaders flipped out at Trump, the President of the United States, talking about the dignity of all human life.
