Congrats to our April Group of the Month! Based in Meridian, Idaho, Cole Valley Club America is a high school group that has worked tirelessly to make a lasting impact both on their campus and throughout their community. Through consistent activism, creative outreach, and civic engagement, this group shows exactly how dedicated students can help build a culture of life and influence meaningful change—even while still in high school. 

The group has remained highly active at both the school and community levels. They hosted a poster‑making contest and brought 40 members to the Boise Pro-Life March. At school, Club America has been outspoken against abortion through activities such as hosting debates and tabling during lunch periods. They also welcomed pro‑life speakers from Students for Life of America and their local pregnancy resource center, giving students opportunities to learn, ask questions, and engage in thoughtful discussion. 

March was an especially busy month for the club! Members enthusiastically participated in SFLA’s National Pro‑Life Chalk Day and organized a schoolwide diaper drive. On Chalk Day, the group spent an afternoon in downtown Boise covering sidewalks with pro‑life messages. Their creative outreach included a “stages of preborn development” hopscotch, which earned them the Most Creative award in the Chalk Day contest. Over spring break, the group delivered more than 5,000 diapers to their local pregnancy resource center, directly supporting families in need. 

Cole Valley Club America has also played an integral role in opposing a citizen‑led petition that seeks to legalize abortion in the state of Idaho. To help keep the initiative off the November ballot, the group hosted the Abortion on the Ballot Tour, educating community members about the petition and encouraging them to decline signing. Their advocacy continues today, with several members participating in door‑to‑door outreach efforts. 

Cole Valley Club America is a true model of a well‑rounded student group committed to upholding a culture of life at their school and in their community. They are living proof that being in high school is not a limitation—and that young people can make a meaningful and lasting impact in the pro‑life movement.
