“Ironically, the New York Times should be joining us in opposition to the return of abortion to Missouri. Their investigation titled ‘Botched Care and Tired Staff: Planned Parenthood in Crisis‘ details the very things we fear here in Missouri,” said SFLA’s Morgan Tiemeyer. “Why are we willing to risk women’s lives and ignore health and safety issues for a business that ends life for money?”
MEDIA ADVISORY: SFLA’s Morgan Tiemeyer to Speak at Coalition for Life News Conference
TIME: 11 a.m. CST
LOCATION: St. Louis Planned Parenthood, 4251 Forest Park Ave., St. Louis, MO. 63108

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI (02-17-2025) – Students for Life of America (SFLA) Ozarks Regional Coordinator Morgan Tiemeyer will join a coalition news conference as the Pro-Life Generation (PLG) mourns the return of death by intentional abortion for profit to the state where so many fought so long for the preborn and their mothers. Lawsuits are underway in Missouri since a ballot initiative continue, but a judge now reportedly allows a predatory abortion business to re-engage.
Tiemeyer to make the following comments: “Thank you all for being here. My name is Morgan Tiemeyer, and I’m the Ozarks Regional Coordinator for Students for Life of America. I stand next to pro-life champions who have worked to protect life in law here courageously, knowing the stakes are life and death. Ironically, the New York Times should be joining us in opposition to the return of abortion to Missouri. Their investigation titled ‘Botched Care and Tired Staff: Planned Parenthood in Crisis‘ details the very things we fear here in Missouri.
“We are still fighting in court for protections for the women exposed to Planned Parenthood, something that NBC News reports local Planned Parenthoods say they can’t meet. Consider where we stand today, in front of the St. Louis Planned Parenthood: This very facility alone had 80 ambulances called for medical emergencies, during its time of committing abortions, prior to the Dobbs decision. Why are we willing to risk women’s lives and ignore health and safety issues for a business that ends life for money? ”
“Last week, Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Jerri Zhang officially granted a block on the law requiring abortion facilities to be licensed through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. That means facilities like the one behind me will be performing abortions without even the littlest regard to the safety of the women they claim to serve. This is the pro-abortion movement in full effect: abortion on demand without any supervision or accountability. This is a blatant violation of the Hippocratic oath and of Missouri state law, and it cannot stand.
“Big Abortion built its empire on lies, tax-payer funding, non-existent health standards, the physical and emotional scarring of tens of millions of women, and the bodies of tens of millions of preborn children. And in spite of that, there are those who still claim that the abortion industry cares about women and their safety. Well, it’s time to set the record straight; the abortion industry does not care about women. The abortion industry has never cared about women. And they certainly could care less about women in the womb.
“Pregnancy is not a disease cured by abortion. One of the greatest lies from Planned Parenthood is pretending that poisoning, suctioning, dismembering, and beheading of human children is medical treatment. To quote Students for Life’s founder, Kristan Hawkins, ‘if your healthcare kills people on purpose, you’re doing it wrong.’
“The radical abortion laws of Amendment 3 have, up until this point, been held at bay by the most simple and ethical law imaginable. It demands high standards for medical care. In the state of Missouri, for abortions up until the moment of birth to be performed, facilities like Planned Parenthood had to be licensed by the state department of health. I ask you, what hospital is allowed to operate without a license? What doctor is permitted to practice without a license?
Abortion represents the red-light district of medicine. Women and the preborn deserve better. Join the pro-life movement and stand with us, for women and pre-born children and against the pro-abortion anti-health shills who would scar and kill them with impunity.”
