“Since our society has a hard time understanding even basic biology, I want to make the pro-life movement’s game plan crystal clear: we are coming for abortion access,” said Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins. “Why? If you need reasons beyond the fact that it’s a human rights abuse to deliberately end the lives of vulnerable innocents, come to my speech for compelling proofs that should unite everyone against the Abortion Industrial Complex.”
WASHINGTON, D.C. (10-02-2023) – Students for Life of America (SFLA) President Kristan Hawkins announced a seven-campus speaking tour entitled ‘I’m Coming for Your Abortion Access,’ with more dates likely added. A dynamic presenter, Hawkins will engage students on five reasons why the pro-life movement wants to end abortion access.
The five reasons Hawkins will be highlight during this tour include 1) abortion is fueling population collapse, 2) abortion is destroying women’s health, 3) abortion is harming our environment, 4) abortion is practiced by eugenicists and racists, and 5) abortion is a tool of woke gender ideology.

Hawkins also sent a letter to Vice President Kamala Harris who is having a competing campus tour, challenging her to a debate on abortion. She stated, “While I believe in protection from conception until natural death, the Vice President can’t even name one single abortion limit she supports. With us about as polar opposite on this issue as possible, a conversation on campus would prove to be most interesting… but more importantly, it would set a good example for all students.
“I won’t hold my breath that either of our minds would change, but, in a time when many college kids disrespect First Amendment rights or even self-censor, it’s important for everyone to encourage civil discussion. Kamala Harris, let’s strengthen the bedrock of our country — free speech — and show American students what a friendly yet passionate debate looks like.”
In exercising our free speech rights on behalf of the preborn and their mothers, Students for Life of America team members and the Pro-Life Generation often face opposition and even violence.
Just last semester, multiple of Hawkins’ speaking tour stops were disrupted by violent, unruly abortion supporters. At Virginia Commonwealth University, her event included the arrest of several Antifa members, and emergency medical services were called in to treat an injured pro-life student. At the University of New Hampshire, 200 pro-abortion students gathered to protest her speech; watch the video clip HERE.
In the 2022 – 2023 school year, SFLA groups also reported more than 100 free speech violations, including censorship, theft of property, intimidation tactics, and more.

Students for Life Action (SFLAction), a 501c4, along with its 501c3 sister organization, Students for Life of America (SFLA), make up the nation’s largest, pro-life youth organization, managing a political and policy operation engaging Americans of all ages but with a special emphasis on the largest segment of voters — the Youth Vote. Together they provide political, legal, educational, and community support for women and children, born and preborn. Headquartered in Fredericksburg, VA, SFLA serves more than 1,400 groups on middle, high school, college, medical, and law school campuses in all 50 states. SFLA and SFLAction have more conversations with this generation targeted by the abortion lobby than any other pro-life operation in the world, each week reaching more than 4 million across social media platforms and averaging 1.3 million video views. SFLA has also launched multiple initiatives to lead and serve the future of the pro-life movement including the Campaign for Abortion Free Cities, Standing With You, and the Demetree Institute for Pro-Life Advancement. Over more than 17 years, President Kristan Hawkins has grown SFLAction/SFLA and the Pro-Life Generation into a nearly $20M organization, now preparing for an abortion-free America.
