Students for Life’s Standing With You Aids Texas Flood Victims, Raising Funds & Delivering Supplies to Pregnancy Help Centers & Families 

“In moments when words fall short in the face of tragedy, the Pro-Life Generation responds with action,” said Students for Life’s Director of Strategic Initiatives Michele Venditto. “Through our Standing With You initiative, we’re ready to roll up our sleeves, collecting and delivering essential supplies and heartfelt support to Pregnancy Help Centers, families, and communities impacted by the devastating floods.”

AUSTIN, TX (07-16-2025) – Students for Life’s (SFLA) Standing With You (SWY) initiative quickly mobilized to support local Pregnancy Help Centers (PHCs), families, and churches in the areas hardest hit by the Texas floods. In response to the crisis, SWY launched an emergency fundraising effort, raising $12,000+ to provide essentials like diapers, clothing, furniture, and more. Thanks to the generosity of the Pro-Life Movement, SFLA staff will personally deliver these much-needed supplies this weekend.

“Our hearts are with those affected, and through this fundraiser and supply delivery, we hope to bring a small piece of comfort to mothers and babies in Texas who need a helping hand,” said Venditto. “Just as we saw the Pro-Life Generation rally to collect more than 400,000 diapers in June at the nation’s largest diaper drive, we know what it means to live out our values in both word and action. We’re already inspired by those who’ve stepped up, and we look forward to personally delivering these supplies with the love and care every family deserves.” 

While an initial supply delivery is happening this weekend, donations will continue to support urgent community needs down the road by collecting funds until August 16, 2025, when the fundraising campaign closes.
