On a cold, winter day, I rallied outside the U.S. Supreme Court to hear the most critical case regarding child mutilation rooted in gender ideology. In the U.S. V. Skrmetti case, the Justices heard arguments from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the state of Tennessee to determine whether Tennessee had the right to outright ban child mutilation through chemical or bodily castration. If the U.S. Supreme Court rules in favor of Tennessee, this will set the precedent for other state legislatures to do the same, an overall win for children nationwide.  

Despite the bitter cold, individuals from all backgrounds, religions, and political affiliations showed up at the U.S. Supreme Court to support Tennessee and other states in protecting their children from sterilization and mutilation by transgenderism. Many people may wonder and do ask me what a pro-life organization’s stake is in ending transgenderism for minors. It’s simple:   

Whenever the abortion industry targets innocent children with permanent and irreversible sterilization, it directly impacts the pro-life movement’s efforts to promote a culture of LIFE.

In Planned Parenthood’s 2022-23 report, the abortion giant cited 45 locations that provided chemically castrating services, up from 41 the year prior. Like many “gender clinics,” the medical safeguards are few and far in between. As Students for Life of America (SFLA) previously reported, “The independent review (by Britain’s National Health Service) surrounding how children with gender identity issues are treated found the evidence for such care to be ‘shaky’ and for doctors to be ‘extremely cautious’ prescribing care to minors. That ‘care’ includes cross-sex hormones, which some have reported is not medically gate kept and easy to obtain through a 30-minute appointment.” (emphasis added)   

It’s no surprise that Planned Parenthood and other transgender “clinics” sacrifice care for cash, like what Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry does with Chemical Abortion Pills.  

Planned Parenthood gets points for consistency, wanting parenthood “planned” by killing preborn children and preventing children already born from ever getting pregnant and starting a family themselves. At the same time, Planned Parenthood does this all under the guise of care; both the abortion industry and transgender industry rake in over $2 billion.

Thankfully, the culture of Life may stifle Planned Parenthood, which is bad news for them but good news for the pro-life movement and children everywhere. Only a couple of weeks ago, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy implied that through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), they’d defund Planned Parenthood’s discretionary funds to the tune of $300 million. And now, they’ll likely lose business from their second biggest money maker of so-called “gender-affirming care” of minors.   

At the risk of their safety, conservative commentator Matt Walsh, detransitioner Chloe Cole, and other people from all political, religious, nonreligious, and personal walks of life banded together to show care and concern about the transgender movement’s relentless attacks on confused children.

Just as we’re hopeful that DOGE can take away millions of taxpayer dollars, we’re also optimistic that the U.S. Supreme Court will rule in favor of morality and sanity, ripping even more business from Planned Parenthood.   

The rally spoke volumes: don’t mess with our children. If Planned Parenthood is smart, they’ll get out of the way.
