Broken Clocks and Blind Squirrels – Kamala Harris Accidentally Admits Abortion is Preventable and Predictable

Amidst Vice President Kamala Harris’ disastrous public media appearances, filled with circular sentences and word salads, she actually said something profound and true.

Not on purpose, of course.

During a speech in Atlanta, when twisting the death of Georgia mom Amber Thurman to fit the pro-abortion narrative, she boldly (and accurately) claimed, “There is a word — preventable — and there is another word: predictable.” (emphasis added)

For once, Harris got it right on abortion: the suffering and death from it are preventable and predictable, and Students for Life of America (SFLA) has pointed this out as fast as the abortion media can spew misinformation.

The preventable suffering from Chemical Abortion Pills has physical side effects, including:

  • Profuse bleeding
  • Blood clots
  • Body shakes
  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
  • Uncontrollable sweating
  • Fever and chills
  • Severe pain
  • Infection
  • Short-lasting hot flashes
  • Undetected ectopic pregnancy, which is life-threatening

Emergency Room (ER) visits caused by Chemical Abortion Pills are preventable, and the Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI) found that “For any abortion, there is an increasing likelihood that they will end up in the emergency room within 30 days. Chemical abortions are significantly more likely than surgical abortions to end up in the ER.”

The mental health challenges after a woman has a chemical or surgical abortion are, you guessed it, preventable. CLI once again conducted a study on women who had an abortion rather than giving birth during their first pregnancy and came to the astounding statistical conclusion, finding women who’ve had an abortion for their first pregnancy are:

  • 3.4 times more likely to have outpatient visits for mental health reasons than women who give birth.
  • 5.7 times more likely to have inpatient visits for mental health reasons than women who give birth.
  • 19.6 times more likely to have extended hospital stays for mental health reasons than women who give birth.

Chemical Abortion Pill side effects of any kind are preventable – if CVS and Walgreens didn’t start dispensing them. Let us not forget that just last year, a woman tragically lost her twins after CVS accidentally switched her prescription with Chemical Abortion Pills.

Death by Chemical Abortion Pills would also be preventable if the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) didn’t ignore the Comstock Act, which prohibits mailing them nationwide and allows the Biden-Harris Administration to remove the red tape around the abortion drug through No Test Online Distribution.

SFLA  could go on for hours and pages – just check out the site. But with all of this being said, proving the preventable suffering and death from chemical abortion also cements just how predictable it is.

Sadly, this is where Harris predictably drifts.

She claimed, “And the reality is for every story here of the suffering under Trump abortion bans, there are so many of the stories we’re not hearing where suffering is happening every day in our country.”

These women are not victims of abortion laws, which vary from state to state – they’re the victims of the abortion industry willing to make a buck off of women’s vulnerable situation and the death of the preborn.

But she is right about one more thing: there are many more abortion stories that need to be heard. We have a feeling that they’ll prove the point that Chemical Abortion Pills kill, not abortion laws.
