Saturday was Students for Life of America’s 5th annual National Pro-Life Generation Sidewalk Day. We called the Pro-Life Generation to be on the front lines, reaching out to women and saving lives. And they answered that call.
Across the nation, over 100 Students for Life groups were witnesses on the sidewalks in front of abortion facilities, serving as the last face women saw before they entered. They were their final hope; the last opportunity to turn around. We know moms and babies were spared thanks to the loving support and encouragement provided by students and community members.

Over 80 pro-life students volunteered to be Sidewalk Captains, organizing this special event at their local abortion facility and coordinating the effort. These 80 students joined Lauren Muzyka from Sidewalk Advocates for Life last week to be trained on how to compassionately sidewalk counsel and paint a picture of hope for women in crisis.
These young pro-life women and men know how important they are to sidewalk ministry. The people who are entering abortion facilities need to see someone on the sidewalk they can relate to. The turnaround rate skyrockets when there are counselors who look like peers.
Please stay tuned to Students for Life’s blog and social media for inspiring stories and intense encounters the Pro-Life Generation had!
