This fall, Students for Life of America (SFLA) groups took to sidewalks nationwide for National Pro-Life Chalk Day, spreading powerful messages about the dignity of preborn children and support for women. Armed with colorful chalk, they created eye-catching, positive artwork to spark conversations about life. Unfortunately, not everyone was receptive. Some abortion supporters responded with vandalism, a troubling trend that the Pro-Life Generation (PLG) continues to face. Check out the groups below whose peaceful chalk art was targeted and defaced.

This group chalked a powerful truth on the sidewalk: women deserve far better care than what Planned Parenthood offers. Apparently, some misinformed citizens disagreed and decided to vandalize this important and true message!

Several parts of the group’s chalk display were washed away as a few passersby casually poured water over it. One person even stepped out from their shift at a nearby bagel shop to dump water on the display!

Washing out “pro-woman” doesn’t come across as effective for pro-aborts, who claim that pro-lifers are anti-woman.

A group of girls approached this group’s chalk art right as they were wrapping up, pouring water on it while smearing it around with their shoes.

A vandal partially defaced this group’s proclamation that “human rights begin in the womb,” focusing his or her attention on the silhouette of a preborn baby. Sadly, the image was streaked across the pavement, with the vandal showing particular intent in damaging the symbol of life.

One student took it upon himself to record a Snapchat video and post it to a publicly viewable story within the app. “It’s so much better without all the f***ing anti-choice, anti-abortion, pro-life s*** here,” the vandal said after blatantly defacing this group’s art with his buddies. Nothing screams “open-minded,” like censoring loving and truthful words, right?

After this group beautifully chalked “life begins at conception,” a basic scientific fact, their work was destroyed with water and smeared around, as covered by The College Fix.

We commend these groups for remaining steadfast in the face of pro-abortion opposition!  If your Students for Life group has been subjected to free speech violations, email [email protected]. We are here to help! Together, we can help ensure that every loving pro-life message is heard—as we continue being a voice for the voiceless.

There’s still time to vote for your favorite pro-life chalk art! Voting will close on Thursday, October 24.
