Students for Life of America (SFLA) proudly announces Wheaton College Voice for Life as February’s Group of the Month in recognition of its dedication to advocating for the dignity and protection of all human life. Wheaton College Voice for Life’s unwavering commitment to supporting expectant mothers and engaging in pro-life initiatives has made a profound impact on both its campus and the broader community.  

Pro-Life March Participation  

This past year, Wheaton College Voice for Life took an active role in the National Pro-Life March, one of the most prominent pro-life demonstrations in the country. Their members proudly carried the Wheaton College banner, demonstrating their firm commitment to defending life at all stages.

A highlight of the event was Hannah Lape, a dedicated group member who had the incredible opportunity to speak at the National Pro-Life March. She shared a powerful message about the sanctity of life and the importance of standing up for the most vulnerable, resonating deeply with the crowd and inspiring many to join the cause.

Letters of Hope to Expectant Mothers  

Beyond their advocacy at the National Pro-Life March, the Wheaton College Voice for Life group actively supports expectant mothers through their letter-writing campaign. Members penned heartfelt letters to pregnant women this past year, offering encouragement, hope, and support. These messages served as a source of strength for many mothers facing challenging circumstances, reinforcing the value of life and the power of community.

Wheaton College Voice for Life remains dedicated to its mission and continues to seek new ways to support life-affirming initiatives. Whether through advocacy, education, or direct support for mothers and families, their commitment to defending life remains steadfast.  

“Since the 1980s, Voice for Life has existed to promote a Christ centered culture of life at Wheaton College and to serve local moms, babies, and families. We were so excited to lead the National Pro-Life March, but we are even more excited to continue our work with local Churches, Pregnancy Help Centers, and Students for Life of America,” President of Wheaton College Voice for Life Hannah Lape. “We will pray, educate, and serve until every preborn child is guaranteed the right to life from conception!”
