“Finish the Job,” says Participant as Women — both Born & Preborn — get Cancelled by the “People’s March”

“Is anyone surprised that those who champion abortion through all nine months would apply their twisted views to infanticide?” said Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins. “I’m not, especially when the Democratic Party of the last four years has ushered abortion mania into the public eye and has ‘normalized’ abortion for any reason. The fact that this woman ‘marching for women’s rights’ had no problem saying the most morally degenerate thing about innocent babies on camera says a lot about the activist Left. America desperately needs to become pro-life again, and the next four years is an amazing opportunity to make it happen.”

WASHINGTON, DC (01-20-2025) – Over the weekend, abortion fanatics in Washington D.C. replaced the Women’s March for a People’s March and substituted compassion for infanticide, when asked about supporting babies born during botched abortions. Students for Life of America (SFLA) alumnus Felipe Avila interviewed a female attendee and asked her whether an abortionist should “finish the job” if a baby survives an abortion, to which she shamelessly admits that children’s lives should be ended “if that’s what the mother wants.” 

“This video horrified SFLA, but sadly, we’re not surprised,” said SFLA Student Spokesperson Lydia Taylor Davis. “It further proves the point we’ve been making for years: the normalization of late-term abortion and infanticide is a virus spreading through the Democratic Party, and we must continue to call it out as bravely as they’re willing to proclaim baby killing a ‘right.”

Additionally, SFLA’s Kristan Hawkins said, “When we don’t defend children at the moment of conception, deeming their lives inherently valuable, and instead create arbitrary lines, the moral fallout becomes extraordinary. There’s no line that abortion zealots won’t cross. In this woman’s case, her logic of protecting ‘just women,’ which is flawed as well, has led her to believe killing a baby outside the womb is perfectly fine, without blinking an eye.” 

Infanticide is alive and well in the United States. In fact, Students for Life Action (SFLAction) is strongly urging congress members to pass the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which is expected to be voted on next week.  

“No child should be denied medical care simply because they are ‘unwanted.’ Today, if an abortion fails and a child is born alive, doctors can just ignore the crying baby on the table and watch them slowly die of neglect. That’s not an abortion, that’s infanticide,” said Sen. James Lankford, sponsor of the life-saving bill, in a press release.
