With only a few days before his inauguration, President-elect Donald Trump announced on his TRUTH Social account that he would create a special envoy to Hollywood to bring back the “Golden Age of Hollywood.”
This envoy is more than three of cinema’s biggest stars together, Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson, and Jon Voight: it’s a potential doorway for Hollywood’s pro-life era.

For years now, the abortion lobby has used movies and television to propagandize and normalize the abortion industry. Just look at films like Unpregnant or television shows like Grey’s Anatomy.
Nowadays, it’s almost hard to find a Hollywood storyline without abortion. So why have these stories become more frequent and heavily pushed? It’s essentially free marketing for the abortion industry. Young viewers are the easy targets of these anti-family shows and movies thanks to the accessibility of multiple streaming services. For years, Hollywood has gotten away with it Scott-free. That is, until now.
So why Stallone, Gibson, and Voight? What can these three men do to help bring the movie experience back to what it once was? For starters, they can all use their stances as pro-life men and their life experience.
Sylvester Stallone
The “Rocky” star, Sylvester Stallone, has been open about his upbringing with his abusive father, Frank Stallone, and mentally unstable mother, Jacqueline Stallone. When appearing on his daughters’ podcast UNWAXED, Stallone recounted a conversation he had with his mother.
“My mother would say, ‘The only reason you’re here is because the hanger didn’t work… Or bouncing down those steps didn’t cause you to get lost.’ She said that you know, ‘Truthfully, Sylvester, if there was really something wrong with your brain, I would have definitely opened up the window and put you on the windowsill and let you freeze.”
Despite all odds, Stallone became one of the biggest action stars of all time, leading franchises like Rocky, Rambo, and The Expendables. A man who can rise above such a life can pave the way for life to be protected on and off the silver screen.
Mel Gibson
Actor and director Mel Gibson has been a vocal opponent of the behavior and actions of his colleagues in cinema. Most recently, he went on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, where the UFC commentator and Apocalypto director discussed what led to the collapse of culture.
Gibson said, “What leads to cultural collapse? It’s environmental stuff. It’s human sacrifice. We do that. We do.”
In this clip, Gibson compared the collapse of the Mayan culture to what we are seeing now with the abortion industry, which kills an estimated 2,000 babies every day. Gibson will continue to be a voice for the voiceless in the industry.

Jon Voight
Jon Voight is the one to close out the trio of President-Elect Trump’s envoys. Voight has starred in films such as Holes and the National Treasure movies.
So where does Voight fit in all of this?
In 2020, Voight starred in the film Roe v. Wade, a pro-life movie that depicted the events of the now-celebrated reversed case, Roe v. Wade. While filming the movie, Voight was asked his thoughts on abortion.

“I feel very strongly that every child is a child of God… The mystery of life is so precious,” Voight said. “We should be responsible for it… Abortion shouldn’t be used as a prophylactic.”
By sticking to his pro-life beliefs, Voight has the opportunity to shape cinema and help younger actors realize the sanctity of life at all stages. Additionally, he starred in the 2024 movie Reagan, starring Dennis Quaid as Ronald Reagan, a president known for his pro-life views.
To truly bring Hollywood back to the “Golden Age,” the industry must become focused on the family once again.
Too often, we see films that push the self rather than celebrating the importance of the family. We must find our way back to where families are connected and shown in the cinema, encouraging young people to thrive on such ideals, not those of defending the undefendable: abortion.
These men can help show families and mothers that despite the current situation that they are in, they can overcome anything. They can help stop the continuous crumbling of American culture by blocking the romanticization of abortion in films and television.
Finally, they can remind us that all life is a gift and can be protected through cinema. If these three men bring their pro-life views into Hollywood, imagine how many more men and women might follow in their footsteps, making Hollywood pro-life and pro-family, as it should be.
