We Told You So: NBC Finally Reports the True Damage of Chemical Abortion Pills, Cites Study on High Level of Pain

Despite Students for Life of America (SFLA) pro-life organizations warning everyone about the extreme pain and medical danger of Chemical Abortion Pills, NBC seems to be in shock and awe at a new study confirming just that.

A recent study surveying women in Wales and England found that women were surprised by the amount of pain, and it was far more than just “period cramps,” leading them to feel misled about the symptoms and side effects.

“In the study, researchers looked at survey responses from about 1,600 women in the U.K. who had undergone a medication abortion and then answered questions about the experience. Most were between the ages of 20 and 39 and half had never given birth,” NBC reported. “More than 90% of respondents ranked their pain at least a 4 out of a maximum of 10, and about half said the pain was more than they had expected. About 40% said their pain was severe, between an 8 and a 10 on the pain scale.”

Even though NBC was so close to the truth, they couldn’t help but simp for the abortion industry, arguing that just because the pain is surprising doesn’t mean that it’s not safe.

Sounds delusional?

If they reached a bit further, they’d find evidence that Chemical Abortion Pills are not only painful but also dangerous.

The Charlotte Lozier Institute published a study showing Chemical Abortion Pills leading to increased emergency room and hospital visits. James Studnicki, Charlotte Lozier Institute vice president and director of data analytics and head author of “A Longitudinal Cohort Study of Emergency Room Utilization Following Mifepristone Chemical and Surgical Abortions,” explains his findings in a YouTube statement defending his study:

“They were making the case that abortion is safe. Our work on emergency room visits represents a different point of view to what they thought was secure. We asked a simple question: when women have an induced abortion, what is the likelihood of visiting an emergency room within the next 30 days? And what we find is that for any abortion, there is an increasing likelihood that they will end up in the emergency room within 30 days. Chemical abortions are significantly more likely than surgical abortions to end up in the ER.”

FDA has reported 4,207 adverse events, 1,045 hospitalizations, 603 transfusions, 413 infections, and 97 ectopic pregnancies since 2000. The number of side effects and injuries could be much higher if women fail to report their side effects, especially since we have no National Abortion Reporting Law, so the reported 63% chemical abortion from the Guttmacher Institute may be higher.

Sending women home to bleed alone and deliver a child in a toilet is a wildly horrific event – something the media and abortion lobby ignore and lie about.

And just in time for the new year, Planned Parenthood’s research arm, Guttmacher Institute, revealed that one million abortions occurred in 2023, a 10% increase since 2020, which is in part thanks to the rise in and easy access to Chemical Abortion Pills through lessened restrictions and mail-in pills.

But the Pro-Life Generation (PLG) is also ready for the new year with new goals and actions to call out the abortion lobby.
