It felt like deja vu when Students for Life of America (SFLA) learned Vice President Kamala Harris was returning to North Carolina for the second time within a week. Instead of Greensboro, she visited the notorious military city of Fayetteville to campaign desperately and, once again, champion “freedom.”
But she’s not talking about freedom for the preborn to live and pursue happiness. She’s talking about the freedom to kill them in the womb, or “reproductive freedom,” as they call it, the abortion left’s favorite euphemism.
She’s not exhausted from spreading abortion misinformation in North Carolina, a critical swing state in the 2024 election. Clearly, she wasn’t exhausted enough to campaign for herself and Biden (at the time). It turns out we weren’t exhausted from protesting her either. As quickly as she can describe her love for yellow school buses, I began organizing a protest of her latest trip to Fayetteville, North Carolina, last Thursday.
Standing against Harris is more crucial than ever now that Biden’s waved bye to a second term at the White House and endorsed her as the next Democratic presidential candidate. Don’t be fooled into thinking she’s an improvement to Biden.
Remember: there’s not a single abortion she doesn’t support.
Abortion is her main talking point, and Planned Parenthood adores her for it, making her a massive threat to preborn children.
So, SFLA planned to meet with Harris for a little impromptu chat. Granted, I did it while she was in a bulletproof car and through my megaphone, but I still reminded her that if she plans to fight for the American people, she should fight for preborn Americans. They’re under attack by not only the radical Biden administration but also any Democrat successor who might replace Joe Biden.
As expected, Harris hid all the details of her event until the morning of the day. The media has stated that after the assassination attempt on Trump, security for Kamala Harris would be even more heightened. However, we were determined to protest so she would hear our message.
We tracked down the high school where she was giving her speech. We held signs like “Protect preborn freedoms” and “We demand protection at conception.”
Finally, after standing along the road in the heat waiting for her, her motorcade arrived, driving right past us with no secret security blocking us from speaking to her. As she passed us, we held our signs for her to see as I chanted through my megaphone:
“Protect the freedom of babies in the womb, Kamala Harris.”
Harris went on to advocate expanding abortion access in her speech, but not without a reminder that the Pro-Life Generation will continue fighting to ensure that Harris and any other pro-abortion radicals won’t win the election. And remember, we’re not just talking to Kamala Harris – we’re talking to voters about Kamala Harris and her party’s pro-abortion record so that they can make an informed vote for life.
We know it won’t be long before she returns to our state again, and you can count on us to be on her tail to stand for life.
