“My fellow Americans, I believe the destiny of our nation is inextricably tied to restoring the sanctity of life. Save the babies, and we will save America. Thank you all for coming to our nation’s capital to make your stand for life,” said Vice President Mike Pence. “Thanks for all you have done to bring us to the day we celebrate on this first ever Celebrate Life Day… We will never rest and never relent until we restore the sanctity of life to the center of America law in every state in the land.”
“One year ago today, I stood on the steps of the Supreme Court to read for the first time in the world that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion. Roe and Casey are overruled. For many, that moment might have seemed like the culmination of my work, of your work, of the 1,400 Students for Life of America chapters across the nation, and the work of so many heroes who ensured we reach that day,” said Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins. “But for those of us who were born under the threat of legal abortion, the Pro-Life Generation, it wasn’t the twilight of our mission, friends, but a new dawn for our nation. Life is indeed winning in America.”

Knowles said, “Human beings don’t forfeit their right to life just because they have the misfortune of being born under the butchering regimes of California and New York. There are people who call themselves pro-life who would prefer to leave abortion as a matter of states’ rights. I am all for states’ rights, but no state has the right to murder. Murder is not a right. Murder is not a right because it is wrong…and no state, no nation has the right to do wrong.”
Fitch said, “When my solicitor general and I stood before those justices, we brought our case to them. We said that the Constitution demands that abortion policy-making decisions be returned to the people…that certainly the American people can be trusted to make hard, complex decisions. We can indeed both promote life and empower women…Now that it’s here, it’s time to act. We must rise up to the occasion.”

Students for Life Action (SFLAction), a 501c4, along with its 501c3 sister organization, Students for Life of America (SFLA), make up the nation’s largest pro-life youth organization and a political and policy operation engaging people of all ages. Together they work to end abortion — the human rights issue of our day — and provide political, legal, and community support for women and their children, born and preborn. Headquartered in Fredericksburg, VA, SFLA has more than 1,400 groups on middle, high school, college, university, medical, and law school campuses in all 50 states. SFLA creates strategy, policy, and programming to connect those most targeted for abortion with people ready to help and builds a framework for political engagement on their behalf. SFLA and SFLAction have more conversations with those most targeted by the abortion industry than any other pro-life outreach in the world, reaching more than 2 million people across social media platforms each week and engaging in approximately 100,000 digital conversations per month. Over more than 16 years, President Kristan Hawkins has grown SFLAction/SFLA into an $18 million organization preparing for a Post-Roe America.
