“Disappointed but not Discouraged” by March for Life Change, Students for Life Will #Stand4Life in 19 Cities and D.C.

“The anniversary of Roe v. Wade is a memorial service, a day of remembrance, for those lost to us through abortion and for the women who have suffered and even died because of it, additional victims of a predatory industry,” said SFLA’s Kristan Hawkins. “While this year’s events in the nation’s capital are not what we all planned for, the Pro-Life Generation will still #Stand4Life.”

WASHINGTON D.C. (01-15-2021) – “The March for Life is an important event for the pro-life movement because it is evidence of our on-going grief for the lives lost to abortion. It reminds our political and cultural leaders that this issue will not go away, no matter who is in office. While we are disappointed by the change in plans, we are not discouraged as the work continues no matter where we are standing,” said Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON #STANDFORLIFE: Students for Life had already been working with students and the Pro-Life Generation from across the country on events in 19 cities, as not everyone was going to be able to come to Washington D.C. this year. The #Stand4Life weekends in the D.C. area and across the country are four days of virtual training for pro-life activists of all ages, with opportunities for instruction, lobbying, sidewalk counseling, and in-person engagement. VIP speakers include but are not limited to: Rep. Michelle Fischbach (R-MN), Rep. Jeff Shipley (R-IA), Abby Johnson, Janae Stracke with Heritage Action for America, Stephanie (Gray) Connors with Love Unleashes Life, Alex Clark with Turning Point USA, Tyson Langhofer with Alliance Defending Freedom, Charmaine Yoest with the Heritage Foundation, and Sen Mike Lee (R-UT) by video.  Invited: Sen.
