All selected leaders are invited to the National Leaders Collective Fellowship Weekend to kick off the program.
  2. Internship Credit
We offer unpaid internship credit for all fellowships, which can be added to a résumé upon completion. Our programs may not meet every university’s requirements for internship credit. Students seeking school credit should confirm with their institution before applying.
  3. Resources and Training in Leadership
All selected leaders commit to five hours per month of leadership development through their fellowship. This includes book and publication readings and discussions, bi-monthly or monthly webcast discussions, and guest lectures from movement experts.
  4. Project Development Experience
Each leader completes a yearlong project designed to address their unique campus or community needs and strengthen their résumé. Fellows receive one-on-one mentorship from their fellowship leader during the project.
  5. Career Insight and Mentorship
Each leader is paired with a Career Mentor; a full-time professional in the pro-life movement who offers guidance on career paths and supports project development within their area of expertise.
  6. Exclusive Opportunities to Further the Pro-Life Mission
All selected leaders regularly assist SFLA through strategic activism to further the mission of abolishing abortion in their lifetime.

Special Notes About the Kickoff Weekend

All National Leaders Collective Fellows will be selected and enrolled by April 2026. To be accepted, students must be able to attend the National Leaders Collective Fellowship Weekend, held Thursday, June 18 – Monday, June 22, 2026.

The kickoff weekend offers leadership training, networking, and collaboration with other student leaders in the National Leaders Collective for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Round-trip flights, housing, and meals will be covered by SFLA for accepted fellows. Any additional meals or airport expenses beyond what is provided will be the student’s responsibility. (Food stipends, housing, and flight arrangements are determined with student needs in mind and based on current pricing and regulations. The provided amount is typically sufficient to cover the weekend’s activities.)
