Walker Larson grew up in Winona, Minnesota and graduated from Winona State University with a BA in writing and an MA in English literature in 2020. After graduation, he taught literature, writing, and history at a private academy, where he experienced the joy and passion of students committed to pro-life and related causes. Following his time as a teacher, Walker launched a career as a freelance journalist focusing on cultural issues, including pro-family and pro-life topics.

Walker’s deeply-held Catholic beliefs informed his understanding of the sanctity of life and the need to protect the most innocent among us. Further, infertility struggles Walker and his wife faced led them to an even more profound understanding of the miracle of every human life. Through donations and prayer rallies, Walker supported the pro-life movement, and was thrilled to find an opportunity to become more directly involved by working for Students for Life.

Walker’s writing, reporting, and commentary have appeared in over a dozen outlets, including The Epoch Times, The Daily Caller, The International Business Times, The Federalist, The American Spectator, American Thinker, LifeSite News, Human Life International, Crisis Magazine, and American Essence. He’s also been featured on NTD TV and the radio programs Steel on Steel and A Catholic Take.

Today, Walker lives with his wife and children near Arcadia, WI, in the beautiful blufflands by the Mississippi River. He serves the Pro-Life Generation as Students for Life’s Managing Editor. This role involves assisting the Vice President of Media & Policy, editing news stories and other documents, managing media workflows and deadlines, performing research, and participating in communication strategies.
